Komili factory which was established by the Komili family with olive oil and soap production in 1878’s, was moved to Ayvalık in 1984. In 1992 the company started partnership with Unilever under the name of “Unikom”, which lasted until Unilever’s buying all the shares in 1995.

Unikom Gıda wasacquired by an American investment fund in August 2003 and today the company is named “Yudum Gıda” after its popular domestic brand.

The head office is located in Istanbul and the factory is in Ayvalık. In Ayvalık factory which is established in an 18.000m² area, the annual production capacity is 85.000 tons for corn and sunflower oil, 20.000 tons for olive oils.
